Request to change your Spend card limit

As a cardholder, you may occasionally find that you need more funds on your card than what was originally allocated. Whether it's to cover a one-off expense or an unexpected price increase, you can request a limit adjustment directly from your card view on Cledara.

To send a request:

  1. Log in to your Cledara account and navigate to My Cards.
  2. Select the specific card you wish to update.
  3. On the Overview tab, click the Request card limit change button on the right:

  4. A pop-up window will appear. Enter the new limit you would like for the card. 
  5. Add an optional note for your Spend Admin. Providing a reason helps your Admin approve the request faster:

  6. Click Send request.

If the card limit or frequency is changed, the card spend will be reset for the current cycle.

Once you submit the request, your Spend Admins will receive a notification to review it.

Whether it has been approved or declined, you will receive an email notification as soon as your Admin has resolved the request. If approved, your card limit will be updated immediately.
