Set the next renewal date of an application

Keeping track of your renewal dates helps you stay in control of your software subscriptions. No more surprises from auto-renewals or missed cancellation windows.

Step 1: Update the next renewal date
Step 2: Receive automatic renewal reminders
Step 3: Track renewal dates in a custom Applications tab view

Step 1: Update the next renewal date

  1. Go to the Overview tab of the application.
  2. Click Edit in the Subscription Details section.
  3. Enter or update the Next Renewal Date field:

  4. Click Save changes.

Your renewal date will now appear on the application’s Overview page.

Step 2: Receive automatic renewal reminders

Cledara automatically sends you an email reminder 15 days before the next renewal date you've set.

This helps you:

  • Review whether to renew, cancel, or renegotiate pricing.
  • Avoid being caught off guard by auto-renewals or notice periods.

You can also set up additional reminders using your Application Reminders.

With Application Reminders, you can create one-off or recurring email reminders, add a custom message, and choose exactly when they’re sent:

Step 3: Track renewal dates in a custom Applications tab view

Make it even easier to manage renewals by adding the Renewal Date column to a customised view to your Applications tab:

This lets you see all upcoming renewals in one place, available to export for reports and analysis.
