Manage card tags

In the dedicated Card Tags section, we display the list of main and supplementary cards created under the application with their respective card tags.

Card tags allow Admins, Finance users, and Application Owners to categorise and organise their cards within an application. They are not accessible by other users in your workspace.

Add, create, and remove card tags

You can add card tags by clicking the Edit tags button, and then select existing card tags from the dropdown. A maximum of three tags can be assigned per card.

To create new card tags, start typing your tag and click create.

To remove card tags, click the cross symbol on the right of every tag.


Edit and delete card tags

To edit existing tags, click Edit tags, open the dropdown, and click Edit.

Once there, you can click either Save to confirm changes, or if you no longer need the tag, Delete to bin the tag.

If a tag is associated with multiple cards, a confirmation message will appear, warning the user about the impact of the changes.


Categorise payments with Card Tags in exports and the Payments tab

Card tags are also displayed in the application's Payments tab. This allows users to easily identify which card is linked to a specific payment, improving tracking and reconciliation.

Additionally, they are included as a separate column in the CSV export generated in Transactions tab. Payments can then be easily filtered and categorised for reporting and analytic purposes, enhancing financial organisation and the efficiency in managing card-related data within the platform.
