Confirm a Spend card order in the Cledara mobile app

Whenever a Spend Admin orders a virtual or physical card, the cardholder must confirm the order for the card to be formally issued.

The cardholder will receive an email notifying them of a new card to be confirmed. They can hop on to the platform or the mobile app to complete the process.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to confirm your card in the Cledara mobile app:

  1.  Switch to the Cards screen, and swipe until you see the card you are looking for:

    If the card is cyan, it will be a virtual card; if the card is dark blue, it will be a physical card.

  2. Make sure the phone number is correct, as the number will be used to authenticate online transactions:

  3. If you are confirming a physical card, enter the delivery address:

    If the delivery address has been entered for you, make sure the delivery address is correct. Your physical card will be sent to this address.

    The country where the card will be sent to has to be where your company is incorporated.

  4. If this is your first Spend card, set up your security details.

    You will have to enter your first name, last name, and date of birth:

  5. Set up your answers to the security questions.

    Your answers will be required to verify and complete online payments.

  6. Click the final Continue button to finish setting up your card.

    If you are confirming a virtual card, it will be available for payment right away. If you are confirming a physical card, it will be sent out for dispatch.

Only confirm the card when all the information is correct.

Do not confirm the card if your phone number or delivery address needs to be changed. Your workspace Admins can reset your phone number, and your Spend Admins can update the delivery address.
