If you have just added your Cledara card to Apple Pay or Google Pay and your first transaction is declined, the issue is often a synchronisation error between the wallet provider and the card issuer.
Solution: Refresh your digital token
Sometimes, connection or verification errors do not surface immediately when a card is added. Even if the card appears active, the digital token used to secure the payment may be invalid.
To fix this, please follow these steps:
- Open your digital wallet, select the Cledara card, and delete it.
- Add the card back to your wallet from scratch. This forces the system to issue a fresh token and re-verify the connection.
- Attempt the transaction again.
When to contact Support
