You can stay on top of your software approvals and renewals by connecting Cledara to your Slack workspace.
This integration allows your team to receive real-time notifications about requests and renewals, and to action them directly from Slack, without needing to log into the Cledara platform.

Connection steps
- Log in to Cledara and navigate to Settings > Integrations > Communications > Slack.
- Click Connect.
- You will be prompted to authorise Cledara to access your Slack workspace.
- After connecting Slack, you can choose who to invite to Cledara via Slack. This step is optional and can be configured later. See Invite your team to connect to Slack.
- Choose which notifications are enabled by default for your workspace. These settings can be updated at any time. See Choose default workspace Slack notifications.
- Click Finish setup to save.
Invite your team to connect to Slack
SaaS Admins can decide who can receive a message from the Slack bot:
- All members in the Cledara workspace
- Specific users
- None
Alternatively, you can also copy and share the invite link manually.
Invited users will receive a direct message in Slack to connect to Cledara.
Choose default workspace Slack notifications
SaaS Admins can control which Slack notifications are enabled by default for the workspace. These defaults determine which alerts colleagues can receive in Slack, though individual users can personalise their own notification settings later.
Changes apply to new invites going forwards, and do not override individual user preferences.
