Your Spend user roles determine how much a person can see and which actions can be performed in your workspace's Spend Management module.
In this article, we introduce the permissions of each Spend user role.
This role is best for most employees in your team. Spend Users can:
- see all the cards they own in the My Cards tab
- see all the transactions made on their cards in the My Spend tab
- upload receipts to the payments made with their cards
- not see the Spend Overview tab or the Accounting tab
Spend Accountants have access to the Accounting tab.
Their role gives them permission to:
- view all transactions made through Cledara Spend in the Transactions tab
- review Spend payments and decide what information is sent to your connected accounting software
- publish reviewed payments to your connected accounting software or export them into CSV in the Accounting > Ready tab
- view and export transaction history in the Transactions > Spend tab
Spend Admins have full access to the Spend Overview as well as the Spend Accounting tab.
They have the exclusive permission to:
- give users access to Spend
- create Spend cards
- view all Spend cards created and their payment activity
- disable Spend cards while retaining the rights to enable them again
The Primary Contact holds authority over your Cledara workspace and acts as a representative of your company.
They serve as super Admins that control both your SaaS and Spend account. They are the only user with the privilege to add and remove Spend Admins.
