What is Cledara Agent?

Every week, finance and IT teams lose hours to routine tasks: logging into a tool to retrieve an invoice, adding a new starter, removing someone who has left, or updating a card on file. None of this is difficult, but it adds up, particularly across dozens of applications.

Cledara Agent takes this administrative work off your plate. You choose which applications and actions to delegate, and Cledara takes care of the rest.

How it works

1. Create a dedicated login in your tool

   For each application you want to delegate, create a new user account in your tool using the email address we provide. This address is unique to that application.

2. Confirm access

   Once the invite for this new user account is sent, click Confirm Access. This lets Cledara know to set things up on their end.

3. We take it from there

   Once access is confirmed, that application is managed by Cledara Agent, and you can start delegating actions, either as one-off requests or as something we handle automatically going forward.

The result is less time spent logging into tools yourself, and more time for the work that needs your attention.

How fast is it?

Delegated actions are not instant. Requests go into a queue and are worked through by the Agent, and can take up to two business days.

Our turnaround time is indicative rather than guaranteed. If something is urgent or close to a deadline, it will be faster and safer to handle it directly on the vendor's site yourself.

Is this secure?

Yes. Credentials, MFA secrets, and recovery codes are exclusively stored in 1Password, an enterprise password manager, ad each customer's credentials sit in their own separate space. Access inside Cledara is limited to the team that oversees the agent, on a need-to-use basis, with that access logged.

1Password encrypts everything at rest and in transit, and holds ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, ISO 27701 and SOC 2 Type 2. These certificates are published and can be requested at trust.1password.io. Cledara is SOC 2 Type II certified and Cledara Agent runs in that same control environment. How accurate is it?

Because of this, we recommend starting with smaller tasks that are not time-critical, such as collecting invoices, and to keep anything urgent or hard to reverse with your own team for now.
